Skin Care
Yes, especially if you want to maintain beautiful clear and glowing skin. Our face secrets oil and sweat which accumulates over time. It is best to frequently exfoliate and nourish the skin once a week to have your skin looking refreshed.
Once a week in general is good for most skin types. Here are our recommendations on the frequencies for various skin types:
1. Dull complexion – 1 time a week
2. Congested skin – 2 times a week
3. Acne – 2 times a week
4. Pigmentation – 2 times a week
For general hydration purposes, you may choose to mask once a day.
It is highly recommended to mask after a peel as it is the best time where nutrients from the active ingredients will be absorbed.
It is a good habit to incorporate a gentle scrub into your cleansing routine. A daily gentle scrub will reduce the likelihood of clogged skin. We recommend going a scrub nightly – this will be suitable for all skintypes. You should always take your time to do a scrub to soften and slough off dead skin cells and dirt.
For a clean removal, we recommend using a facial sponge as it helps to take off stubborn debris.
As dead skin cells accumulate over 21 days (3 weeks), it is best to re-visit the salon for treatment every 3 to 4 weeks from your last visit.
Proper cleansing is always the first step to skin care you should do thoroughly before skin care can be well absorbed.
Basic skin care should consist of 3 basic steps:
1. Toner/lotion to balance the skin’s pH after cleansing.
2. Serum
3. Moisturiser

First thing that most would turn to is whitening series to target pigmentation caused by scar marks. Regular peel is an essential routine in skin care at home. But we should always take note on not settling with only peel products but also safe products that will not be too harsh to the skin. Harsh products over a long term would result to further pigmentation due to skin lack of immunity and made skin more vulnerable to sun exposure.
